This is most likely the first serious "bible" written by an atheist. I wrote the book because I believe religion has the potential of helping mankind - if we can harness this aspect of the human mind.

    Dit månen drar
    (Fair Forlag, 2017)
Roman der handlingen foregår i Månefjellene for 60 000 år siden. Gaarder skrev Sofies verden for å gjøre leserne interessert i filosofi - jeg ønsker å gjøre folk interessert i våre røtter. Hva slags liv levde våre fjerne forfedre før jordbruks- og industrisamfunnet overtok kloden?

Aldring - Hva du bør vite før du blir for gammel
    (Dreyer Forlag, 2017)

Most of the scientific articles I have published are in some way associated with the process of evolution. Previously I worked in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, virology, and ecology. Over the past ten years I have focused on the human brain. Below are links to select articles that expand on theories concerning human behavioral biology and happiness:

In short, I try to understand how evolution has shaped the human brain. This includes explaining features like why we kiss, what falling in love means, and why we get jealous. I believe insight in our brain can be used to improve society. The term Darwinian Happiness (or Biology of Happiness) stands for what the evolutionary perspective has to say about quality of life.
The topic is expanded in the presentations found under the following links:

The Evolution of Consciousness. Implications for Mental Health and Quality of Life
    (Springer, Switzerland, 2016)
The book offers a model of what consciousness is about. It uses this Insight in conscious processes to suggest how to make life more pleasant. The text is based on a novel theory of the evolutionary trajectory leading to conscious animals.

Improving the Human Zoo: Exploring Alternative Lifestyles Around the World
    ...
    (Spartacus Forlag, 2014)

    (Flux Forlag, 2012)
